Our beginnings can be traced back to 1949 when Horace Hildreth Sr, the former governor of Maine, USA, purchased the license for the WABI-AM television network in Bangor, Maine and in 1953 launched WABI-TV. In 1970, the company appropriately ‘diversified’ and launched its first trade show, the beginning of another chapter, which eventually led to where we are today.

We now own nearly 50 market leading brands, run over 100 events annually, and produce 7 publications and more than 25 digital products, with around 500 staff globally.
